  • Highfield House is a residential location in Lower Hutt, Wellington, available for photography and brand shoots. It is suited to photographers, content creators, and creative teams working on commercial, lifestyle, and portrait projects. The space offers a calm, considered backdrop for both solo shooters and small productions.

  • Sessions are available from two hours to a full day, with exclusive access to the property for the duration of your booking. Furniture and styling items can be moved as needed and you are welcome to bring your own props and equipment. Everything must be returned to its original position before departure.

  • Your booking includes exclusive access to the following areas:

    • Kitchen and main living spaces

    • Bedrooms (excluding the kids bedroom)

    • Bathroom and ensuite

    • Laundry

    • Loft and office space

    • Natural light throughout

    • On-site parking

    • Wi-Fi available upon request

    • Self-access for approved bookings

  • To preserve the space for all creators, we do not allow nudity or adult content, painting or permanent alterations to surfaces, or any activities that could cause damage to the architectural finishes. We ask that all users leave the space as they found it. Full terms are provided during booking.

  • We cater to individuals or crews with ample on-site and off-street parking for multiple vehicles, a step-free single-level entry for easy load-in, an abundance of power outlets, and a dedicated area for staging equipment. The open floor plan allows for efficient movement of both people and gear. Access details are provided prior to your booking and payment.

  • Highfield House is an architectural home designed for light. The combination of high-set north facing windows and reflective surfaces creates a soft, consistent light quality that is rare to find. Paired with multiple textured backdrops and considered spaces across two levels, it offers a versatile range of shots in a single location.
